9 Cool Things to Do in Kamloops
Looking for some awesome things to do in Kamloops? From outdoor adventures to scoping out local shops and eateries, there are plenty of ways to enjoy all Kamloops has to offer!
If I could plan my perfect day here, I know exactly what it would look like. And I thought: why not share my ideas for those who are exploring here for the first time—or even if you live here and you’re looking for Kamloops date ideas.

Fun Things to Do in Kamloops on a Date or Solo
Ready to take an imaginary tour around Kamloops with me? Here are 9 things to do in Kamloops that work if you're on your own or planning a date with your special somebody.
1. Get caffeinated at one of the best cafes in Kamloops.
Kamloops has so many awesome places to pop in for coffee or tea, and two of my downtown faves are Motivo and Amplified. Motivo is conveniently located right in downtown Kamloops, which is the perfect jumping off point for the rest of the day (and be sure to get a special oat cookie - my personal fave!)
Amplified is centrally located too, and their Oat Chai Latte is one of the best—so if you love a great chai I highly recommend you drop in and try it!
2. Grab breakfast and get fuelled for the day.
Hello Toast is a Kamloops staple for breakfast—and for good reason— their hash browns are so delish! This is a busy spot, so expect a bit of a wait to get in. Maybe bring your coffee and hang around to secure your spot? It’s worth the wait!
3. Pamper yourself at one of Kamloops spas.
A little bit of pampering can go a long way in helping you feel like the beautiful being you truly are. Sugar and Spice is the perfect spot for a new set of lashes or even a lash lift and tint. You can also pop into Son Mai for a pedicure and their signature Vietnamese coffee, or visit the wonderful staff at Foxy Box for a fresh wax or laser! Whatever makes you feel great in your body, I say go for it! Plus you’re supporting local female businesses - girl math says that’s a win-win!
4. Celebrate Yourself with an Empowering Boudoir Session
You’re having an amazing day so far—now what’s one thing that could make it even better? A boudoir session is the perfect way to honour yourself and celebrate all that you are, here and now. Right now, I’m loving outdoor boudoir sessions with picturesque backdrops—like a waterfall where you can drop your shoulders and document your natural beauty in the elements.
Of course, this also works for a couple’s boudoir photoshoot too. Or we could use your hotel room to set the scene (works well for staycations too), or use my stunning new boudoir studio located downtown Kamloops. It’s all about finding where you’ll feel most relaxed so you kindle that spark with your special someone. I have tons of ideas, and I’d love to hear yours too.
Here’s the best part: When you book a boudoir photography session with me in Kamloops, you always have an hour and a half of free time before you come back to do your in person, same day viewing session. 5. Take your time browsing cute local shops.
If you haven’t yet, definitely check out Crooked Crown and Far and Wide for the cutest gifts, candles, cards, and clothes! Pick up something special for yourself—or if you’re with a date, treat them to something they have their eye on!
6. Invite positive energy.
If you’re wanting something a little more magical and metaphysical, you have to check out Soul Stones. Here you can find amazing crystals, beautiful journals, tarot cards, and affirmation decks.
7. Peruse cute clothes and home decor.
The best part about thrifting a new outfit is that you never know what kind of gems you’ll find—for an amazing price at that! Lys Thrift + Vintage has a curated selection of amazing clothes for men and women.
If you love shopping for the latest trends, you’ll want to stop in at Main Street or Jardines Domaine. Or Jardines Home has a very intentional (and gorgeous) collection of home decor, candles, bath salts, textiles, kitchen wares, and more.
8. Find your perfect fit at Lavender Lingerie.
Ready to slip into something that makes you feel unstoppable? Visit the ladies at Lavender Lingerie and check out their bras, swimsuits, sleepwear, and more. They specialize in bra fitting and will do a complimentary bra fit for you (let’s be honest, when was the last time you had your bra size checked?) and they carry sizes A-L too.
9. Grab some dinner at one of the best restaurants in Kamloops.
If you love fresh made pasta, you’ve got to head on over to locally owned Peter’s Pasta for dinner. Wind down for the evening with delicious food and great service—but be sure to get there early (around 5), unless you don’t mind waiting in line!
