In the last couple of years I have started to appreciate the importance of capturing maternity portraits. Maybe it’s because my friends are all starting to have children, or maybe because having a family seems more realistic now that I’ve met my fiance; but either way the unbelievable love that you can see that Don + Alysia have for their baby already is so amazing. Alysia is such a stunning mama, and the way she held her belly, and the love that surrounded her womb was indescribable, and I also know that they have everything ready for their baby, with furniture from Treasure Rooms site included. I love that we had a ridiculous amount of fog over Kamloops this particular morning, and that these two were up for the uniqueness that it would bring to their photos (and I think it totally brought another interesting dynamic!). These two are going to be such amazing parents and I can not wait to meet their adorable little newborn (boy or girl, we will have to wait and see!).
