Kelly and Colin are that adorable couple who have been dating since high school, and are still just as in love as they were 10 years ago! Colin purposed to Kelly on Christmas day two years ago- so they have had lots of time to plan their ideal wedding. I’m so excited to see the individual touches that Kelly has in store: she has expressed that she would love the tables to be adorned with peacock and ostrich feathers, and a bountiful amount of deep purple and turquoise for the colours. I love it when my brides have their own unique vision for their wedding day and they come up with ideas that are completely special to the two of them. I love how Colin is so thoughtful and attentive towards his bride to be. He proposed while they were on a family vacation to Mexico, and he had decided to give her a ring that had been in his family for years. He had his sister safe keep it for the journey and on the day that he proposed he stopped at a local vendor in Mexico to buy an oyster shell and put the ring in the shell before he proposed. He knew how much Kelly loves diamonds, and that she would love something that was meant just for her, so when they returned home, he had another, special engagement ring just for her! What a keeper! Can not wait to photograph their wedding this summer! So much love to you both!

I absolutely LOVE these girls. I have had the pleasure of knowing their family (through my family), and watching the girls grow from babies to beautiful young ladies. We had such a wonderful day shooting out in the brisk weather, and these girls are always full of smiles and tons of laughter! I literally can not take a bad photo of these stunning girls, and I love how their mom looks like a sister in the group (and I’m also in love with their families newest addition, Leia, a rambunctious little frenchie). The best part is that they are all so kind, wonderful and genuine people, and I love the bond that they all have with one another. I can’t wait to continue to watch your family flourish! Kelly and Paul are effortless together! They have this relaxed and calming air about them, and they are both such ridiculously kind people. I loved them both since the first moment that I met them – they are just all around fun people to be around; and their wedding day reflected the kind of people that they are :) They had only close family and friends there to witness the day and you could feel the immense love surrounding them throughout the whole wedding! I especially love it when brides and grooms opt for the “First Look” photos. For the people who still aren’t sure of what this is – but it’s when you do your creative portraits with the bride and groom and the bridal party before the actual ceremony. It’s a little less traditional, but it is so incredibly amazing for photos (and makes the whole day feel a little bit more relaxed). Kelly + Paul’s first look was so wonderful. Because Tobiano means so much to the two of them (and because their ceremony + reception were out there) it was only fitting to incorporate the incredible scenery in to their photos. The spots we chose for photos were so indescribably beautiful and serene and made for the most romantic and heartfelt first look and bridal party photos. I also love that it was pouring rain in the morning and it stopped for the day so that they could have what they envisioned – people outside by the fire, guests playing games on the lawn, and their first dance outside under the stars! Ahhhhhhmazing! There are no other words to describe how amazing Kelsey + Mike’s wedding day was. These two are so perfect for each other – they are silly, romantic, beautiful and so wonderful to one another (and they are both hardcore runners + hikers – I found this out when we hiked up a very steep mountain for their engagement shoot!). Kelsey and I have actually known each other since high school so when I realized that she had met her soul mate I was that much more happy for her because I know what an incredible + beautiful person she is! Mike checks off all of the boxes for Kelsey: he is handsome, kind and funny! When he’s around, Kelsey has the biggest smile on her face! The day was completely effortless and perfect! Kelsey and her girls got ready at her mom’s stunning house, and the vibe was relaxed and fun! They had the most spectacularly beautiful summer day, and the sun shone down on both of them throughout the whole day. Kelsey had said that she would love some sunset photos, and we were blessed with the most stunning sunset at the top of Harper Mountain to end the day. Their day was filled with so much emotion and love that it was such an honor to be a part of, and to witness. I love that you two have found one another and am so happy to watch you start your lives together! So much love to you both! xo
