Patterson Twins Kamloops Family Photographer
Kamloops, BC

Kamloops Portrait PhotographerThese two little boys completely stole my heart! Maybe it was their matching little outfits, their cute little smiles, or their wonderful little personalities! We spent the early afternoon downtown where we let the boys crawl around by all the cool graffiti walls. They were in to everything and it was so fun watching them be enthralled with the smallest things! I know how quickly kids get in to things, and how fast they move when they are on a roll, but I think because there was two of them that they seemed that much more ambitious! We set them in one spot and within an eighth of a second they’d be off in different directions finding new things to explore! I’ve always been fascinated with twins (and wished that I was one growing up) so seeing these identical little boys cruise around just made me want twins that much more! Too bad they don’t run in mine, or Kyle’s family! These two little guys were so well behaved which is totally representative of their laid back, awesome parents – they just let their kids be kids, and the day unfolded from there! So much love to you all! xoKamloops Portrait PhotographerKamloops Portrait PhotographerKamloops Portrait Photographer Kamloops Portrait PhotographerKamloops Portrait Photographer Kamloops Portrait Photographer Kamloops Portrait PhotographerKamloops Portrait Photographer Kamloops Portrait Photographer Kamloops Portrait PhotographerKamloops Portrait PhotographerKamloops Portrait PhotographerKamloops Portrait Photographer Kamloops Portrait PhotographerKamloops Portrait PhotographerKamloops Portrait Photographer

Paré Family
Barriere

This beautiful lady and I went to high school together, and although we’ve been friends through facebook during the gap from high school til now, I hadn’t actually seen her in years! When she contacted me to photograph her unbelievably adorable family (with baby #3 on the way), I was so excited to see her and meet her husband and 2 cute little girls! Living in Barriere growing up definitely had it’s disadvantages with the lack of fun things to do after school or on weekends, but the one quality it did have, is the incredible, lush, backyard property that most of our family houses all featured. Mokki’s parent’s house is phenomenal: situated on top of a bank where you can hear the river below, the greenest grass and more trees than you can imagine all at the end of a windy, idyllic dirt road. It was a magical day for photos and we were lucky to have just missed the rain for this session! I can honestly say that I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such beautiful, adorable, loving, girly little girls! Freja and Hazel were little sunbeams who both had so much personality and charisma – I could have hung out with them all day taking their photo (mom and dad are definitely in for some trouble when these girls grow up!). You can see where they get their charm and good looks from though – Mokki radiates positivity, youthfulness and beauty and Rease is so calm, rugged, manly and has such a calm, loving demeanor. I wish they all lived closer so I could watch their family grow, and so that I could meet cute little baby number 3 when he or she arrives! Loved our day together! xo

Rouble Family
Kamloops

I had only met Brian’s adorable family a handful of times in passing, but I knew if they were anything like Brian, they would be genuine, easy going, wonderful people to spend an afternoon with, and I couldn’t have been more right! Brian and Kate’s boys are both SO intelligent, adorable and caring. I arrived at their house a little early and I’m so glad I did because I was invited in, and I was able to watch the boys interact with one another while Mom, Dad and Grandma finished getting ready. I absolutely love lifestyle sessions with families because it gives you a snapshot of a day in the life of the family! Ty is already an avid reader and also knows how to write the alphabet (and he’s not even in school yet!) and Paxton is inquisitive, playful and knowledgeable about trains! I loved the organic nature of their home and their relationship with one another – such an open, unique and loving home! We spent the day running around on their beautiful property at Monte Lake, with lots of hugs, tickles, animals and candid moments! I loved that Brian’s mom was a part of the photos because Grandma’s (especially awesome ones like theirs) play such an important role in our lives, and it was visible how much these boys love having their Grandma around! I was honestly grinning ear to ear after I left this session because I knew I had captured so many wonderful moments with this family. Love to you all, and I can’t wait to see how talented and handsome these boys grow up to be! xo

I think I love the in between photos the most – everyone just being themselves is always entertaining!

This is my favorite photo for sure! So much love and so much fun! :)
