Cori + Tony Vernon Silver Star Wedding

What an incredible setting for such an amazing couple! Silver Star resort is nestled in the mountains near Vernon, British Columbia. On a clear day you can see the snow caps on the mountains from afar and the air is cool and fresh. For Cori + Tony’s wedding day it started out a brisk, but beautiful summer day, and then quickly turned to rain right before the ceremony (as much as I thought it would pass, the rain didn’t stop until the next day!). But that couldn’t stop these two from getting married, and being so ridiculously happy, and they embraced the rain like only two wonderful people could! Although we lost the views of the mountains, we were blessed with a foggy and romantic backdrop with the greenest grass that made Cori’s stunning white dress totally pop! I don’t think these two stopped smiling the entire day, and it was so exciting to have so many different aspects to their wedding (like bride games and a Chinese ceremony!) I love these two together, and I wish them all the happiness in the world! So much love to you both! xo

Such a fun part of the Chinese traditional wedding games – the bridesmaids create challenges for the groom and the groomsmen in order to give their blessings for the groom to marry the bride! These ladies had some funny games for the guys! From popping balloons in hilarious ways, to passing oranges without dropping them, and the funniest; waxing their legs! The guys were great sports and it made for some funny photos!

How amazing are these Chinese dresses?! In love with how vibrant the colors are on all of these beautiful ladies! So happy that Cori + Tony decided to do a traditional Chinese tea ceremony! The bride and groom kneel in front of family members and are served tea that is drank in a specific order. The bride and groom are given gifts and jewellery to bless and celebrate their marriage – such a great ceremony to be a part of!
