The first time I met Meghan and Spencer I felt as though I was hanging out with old friends! We ended up chatting for a couple of hours, and I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of their wedding because it sounded like it was going to be such a fun day!!! These two live in Vancouver but envisioned a more rustic elegant wedding for their day; when they showed me their venue Silver Sage Stables in Coldstream I was super excited to shoot there!!! The property has so many stunning backdrops for photos, and is set up perfectly to have the most picturesque ceremony and intimate reception! I don’t think we could have asked for a more beautiful day for their wedding. The sun was warm and there was a slight breeze coming through the valley! We traveled to Keluki Bay for some photos with some epic backdrops, and stopped at a few other beautiful spots along the way. These two didn’t stop smiling the entire day, and I loved that everyone at their reception started dancing as soon as the music started until the last song was played! I love how creative and passionate Spencer is and that he told me to do whatever I wanted in terms of photos (the more unique the better he said!) and I love how warm, caring and beautiful Meghan is (seriously, if you meet her you’ll want to be her best friend because she’s so fricken lovely!) I adore these two, and loved being a part of their wedding day! So much love to you both! xo This was one of the COOLEST things I’ve ever seen!!! A paint by numbers from one of their engagement shoot photos!! It was so interactive! Everyone was painting little bits of it to finish it before the night was over!
