Whiskey River Ranch Rustic Country Wedding

I don’t even know where to start with this shoot! Everything about it was simply amazing. Kathryn Easton and Milestone Events went above and beyond to create such an intimate and well executed rustic, country wedding that any bride would die for. The shoot took place at Whiskey River Ranch in Pritchard (for those of you who haven’t been here, it’s so beautiful and totally worth the drive – especially for the amazing views!) Every detail was fitting from the cowboy boots, to the old barn, to the horses grazing in the background, to the rustic red roses that popped up everywhere. It’s truly astounding how many talented and amazing vendors we have in the Kamloops area and it always blows my mind when I see how much creativity comes together in these shoots. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Amour & Mint Stationary a few times now and she never fails to disappoint on having the color scheme and the font on point with the feel of the shoot. Another true talent is Megan with Cocoa Dot Cakes – man can this girl bake! From the delicious Cake Pops (we got to devour them afterwards!) to the naked berry cake, she is always creating something visually appealing and equally as mouth watering! One of my all time favorite parts of stylized shoots is always the floral arrangements! Milestone Events & Kathryn Easton did a stunning job creating something modern and colorful to go with elegant country theme they had envisioned! I love all the sprigs of green that pop out of the bouquets to add some color and whimsy! And of course none of this could be possible without our wonderful models! People always give models a hard time because they think that it must be easy to get hair and makeup done and then just pose – but in all reality it’s a lot of work. These girls (and our groom) were at the shoot before I even was getting beautified by the wonderful MUAH team (who made them look absolutely flawless!) and they were there helping us clean up as it started to get dark! It started to get cold near the end of the shoot and we didn’t hear a peep from any of them – they just kept modeling their butts off! Biggest thank you to Kathryn + Milestone Events for having this amazing vision and for bringing it all together – it makes you realize how much work wedding planners and stylists really do!
