Although these two look dreamy and romantic in so many of their photos, this photo describes them best! When they are together they both have the biggest smiles, the most genuine laughs, the most hilarious jokes and the most love for one another! I have known Melissa pretty much my whole life, which is so awesome to be able to say because she is an absolute gem! We grew up together in Barriere, and we grew close when we were crowned the North Thompson Fall Fair + Rodeo Queen + Princess in high school! All jokes aside, we had so much fun wearing ridiculous tea dresses, traveling around BC singing songs about Barriere, while trying to be lady like and trouble makers!  Melissa + James had the most perfect day for a wedding, it was warm with some clouds in the sky, overlooking the Thompson river from Monte Creek winery (a ridiculously stunning venue!). During the ceremony, Melissa’s veil fell out multiple times, and instead of getting upset, she finally just tossed it to her bridesmaids and said “take this, I just want to get married!” This is the Melissa I’ve always known, so determined and feisty, she’s always known what she wants; and she did a great job knowing when it came to James! James is definitely the ying to her yang; he has the calming voice of a country singer and although he seems more reserved at first, he is just as playful and mischievous as Melissa. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the crowd during their ceremony or a face that didn’t hurt from smiling during their reception! I especially loved wandering through the vineyards with these two while the wedding party joked, drank wine and Melissa’s gorgeous cathedral veil blew in the wind. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate these two, and am so honored that I was able to be a part of their day! So much love to you both!
