Laine Dagneau Hair Stylist + Makeup Artist – aka Looks By Laine

Where do I even begin with this gorgeous lady? I’ve known Laine for a few years now and am so incredibly grateful to have her beautiful spirit, her generous self and her mega talented skills working alongside me for so many of my weddings and all of my boudoir shoots! The first time that Laine did hair + makeup for one of my boudoir shoots, I knew that I was in LOVE with her and her work! My client came from Laine’s absolutely beaming from head to toe and was raving about how amazing Looks by Laine was! I knew from that moment that was the kind of woman I wanted associated with my shoots because having your photo is a daunting thing (but having a boudoir shoot is a terrifying thing for most women) and to know that you look and feel like a million bucks before the session even begins is a must!!!

Although Laine is drop dead gorgeous herself, she couldn’t be more easy going to talk to and relate to! I have been wanting to photograph the woman behind Looks by Laine for as long as I’ve known her, and she’s always been reluctant to get behind my lens, but after a few years of cajoling, we finally set a date! What I love most about this session is that we got to experiment with a few different makeup looks, different locations and different outfits! Laine is definitely an expert in her field and it shows through all of these very different looks (that she switched in the span of a few minutes each) plus we had some random pouring rain in the middle of the session and she managed to whip her hair back in to shape without any tools (a true professional for sure!) If you’ve never had the pleasure of being beautified by Laine, you need to book her as soon as possible- I can guarantee you won’t regret it! Love you my fellow boss babe!
