Megan & Steve Kamloops - Rozalind Photography

The first day I met Megan I knew instantly that we were on the same page with so many things, and that we would soon become friends. She had so many different and original ideas for her and Steve’s wedding; she was enthusiastic (and talked as much as I did!), she was creative, fun, and organized! As soon as she said they were going to have a movie themed wedding, my excited mind started going – I was pumped to photograph their engagement photos (we did them in the Paramount theatre – thanks again to the wonderful Carmen who runs it – you can see those photos here) and to be a part of such a uniquely themed wedding! I always know I’ve found “my bride” when she is totally on board with any crazy idea that I come up with. Megan and Steve were awesome throughout their engagement session, so I had so many ideas for their wedding! I found a few spots up in the Knutsford area (thanks to Nancy who let us use her property!) that I knew would be perfect for them, and they were ecstatic and ready to go regardless of the threatening, black rain clouds that were looming above! You guys were amazing! These two together are effortless 🙂 Megan has that amazing ability to just stand somewhere and look incredible beautiful, I definitely envy how at ease, and how graceful she is in front of the camera! Steve is such a wonderful guy for being calm, collected and ready for anything – and as I found out later during the speeches he definitely has some quirky habits that gave me even more insight into how awesome they are together! I loved, loved, loved being a part of your day, and watching you celebrate together! So much love to you both! xo
