I always feel so honored when a bride and groom who are from out of town tell me that they found me through an internet search.  The internet is such an overwhelming place to search for something as important as say a wedding photographer, because it means hours of pouring through websites, blogs and random wedding posts, and trying to deduct through all that who would be best to capture your day without necessarily getting to meet them first. When Kandyce first contacted me I knew I wanted to be a part of their day because she was so lovely (via email!), so organized and so in love! For out of town couples, I always try to ensure that we can meet face to face at some point, or in the least through skype because I like to see how the couple is together, and I want them to see what I’m like as well! I was fortunate to get to meet with Kandyce and Bobby before their big day and my first thoughts when I saw them was how unbelievably adorable they were! Kandyce is like a living doll! She’s tiny, beautiful, has gorgeous big blue eyes and a sweet personality! And Bobby could be mistaken for a Ken doll as well! He honestly couldn’t be any cuter, his tousled hair, his modest smile and his charming nature are a perfect fit for Kandyce! Their kindness, and aparent adoration for one another made my heart melt! When their wedding day came, I knew it was going to be fantastic! They had both agreed on Tobiano Golf Course as the desired location for their photos, and what a magical place to capture their love. Kandyce’s stunning veil blowing in the wind made my heart swoon with every click of my camera. Her vivacious smile and his boyish charm radiate in every single photo! Not to mention I had their ridiculously good looking wedding party to capture as well!  Although it was a scorching hot day, the wedding party and I had fun running about the course to get the best shots! I wish you both the happiest life together! Also, a huge thank you to my second shooter Ian, and to the bride’s friend Blossom who was a rockstar assistant! xo

The couple was super excited about going out to beautiful Tobiano Golf Course to do some photos! Although it was insanely hot out, we managed to find some shade and then brave the heat (the boys were such great sports even though they must have been boiling!)

I LOVE long veils! Kandyce was so cute, she told me that day that she had been planning on telling me that she was wearing the long veil, but decided to surprise me with it instead! I love that my brides know what will make me happy!

Kandyce, you are SO beautiful!!! And Bobby, what a handsome groom! 🙂
