Kamloops Rex Wedding Photographer
The first moment I met Dayna and Spencer I knew that their day was going to be filled with so much fun! They also chose The Rex in Kamloops as their reception venue which I’ve never shot at before, so it’s always great to shoot somewhere new! Dayna has the biggest, most amazing smile I’ve ever seen and she is such a kind and warm person that I instantly bonded with her! Spencer is so awesome as well! He’s super lovable, and easy going, and together they just seem to have such a loving and fun relationship. They’ve been together since high school, and I think that they’ve just grown in to their best selves with one another.
Leading up to their wedding day Kamloops was completely socked in with thick smoke, but not once did they get upset that it might affect their day. They were just so pumped to be getting married that it gave me a chance to actually shoot with the eerie looking smoke (which made for some fun effects!) The whole day was just so great – the groomsmen had me laughing at their crazy antics, and the bridesmaids looked stunning at every moment (if you didn’t know, the bride has an equally as beautiful sister, and it was so wonderful seeing the bond between identical twin sisters)
I loved that every chance they got, someone got iced (which means you have to take a knee and shotgun a Smirnoff Ice!) and that from start to finish everyone drank, danced, and laughed the entire day! I adore you two and can’t wait to see your love continue to grow!! So much love to you both! xo
The smoke really made for a unique backdrop for their wedding – gotta use what nature is giving you!
The aftermath of having your bride run through the dust, and sit in brushy (but pretty!) spots… a million little burrs and so much dirt :*( Love you Dayna! You are badass!!!
