I’ve known Megan for quite a few years now, and I have lots of fond memories of us camping and playing sports with our mutual friends, laughing and just being silly teenagers! Over the years we stayed friends on Facebook, but after high school both our lives grew in different directions, but that didn’t affect anything when we reunited to discuss their wedding. We picked up right where we left off, giggling about friends, reminiscing about the old days and getting excited about her and Ryan’s wedding! The three of us went for breakfast to discuss their plans for their big day and I knew instantly that I wanted to be a part of their wedding! Growing up in the same family & friends circle, I knew there was going to be so many amazing people in attendance which always equals an awesome atmosphere, but mostly, I wanted to be a part of their big day because of the way they are together. Hearing Ryan’s story for how he proposed (growing up the family joke was that Megan was called Cinderella because she felt like she had to do all the chores when she was younger, and the nickname had kind of stuck and of course Ryan knew this story and wanted to incorporate the princess aspect in to his proposal. He ordered a special glass slipper, found the perfect ring with her sisters help, managed to keep it all a secret from detective Megan (aren’t all girls like that?) and surprised her with dinner and a proposal one night after her baseball game! She was completely surprised and of course said YES to her prince charming! 🙂 What I love about these two is that despite how dressy and effortless they look in the photos, they are both super easy going and up for anything (and if you’ve ever shot with me, you know that I love finding the hardest to get to spots and I regularly make couples go in to the water…) I absolutely can’t wait for their wedding and I’m so excited for the happiness they’ve found in one another! Congrats you two! xo
Love the photos! So happy for you both. Best wishes my birthday buddy.
