When I first met Denica (who was a bridesmaid at one of my amazing weddings from last year), I remember thinking how incredibly stunning she was; so, when she contacted me about her wedding in the Mayan Riveria this year, I was ecstatic for many so reasons! My first thought was that the photo opportunities that I’m going to have with these two in such a beautiful place are going to be endless!! When we talked about their engagement session, we decided that we would also make it a family session as well because these two have a ridiculously adorable son, Mason! What a little cutie he is with his mop of blond hair, his sparkling eyes and his super chill demeanor! It was only fitting that we added even more cuteness to this session! When I’m with this family it’s like hanging out with friends – we set up a blanket by this little creek and while Mason crawled around in awe of the tall green grass, I could hear Shawn telling Denica how beautiful she was. Way to make my heart melt even a little more! At first glance of this couple you might think – wow was an amazingly good looking couple! But if you are with them for even 5 minutes you see that they are so much more than that! Denica is such a warm, adorable and wonderful mom and person and Shawn is such a sweet, caring and considerate dad and fiance, and they fit so perfectly together. I can’t wait to celebrate with you two in Mexico this December! So much love to you both! xo
