Iona Beach Photographer
Alice is someone who is very near and dear to my heart! She was my insanely brave model for so many shoots during my time at Emily Carr. She modelled with dead eels + crabs, and bared herself in front of weird apartment buildings and once on the Granville street bridge at 4am! We worked together at Cactus Club for years, and I always felt connected to her fun loving and beautiful soul! When I heard that her and Keir were engaged and that they wanted me to do their wedding photos, I felt so honored and excited!
It all worked out perfectly that I was going to be passing through Vancouver for another wedding, so we jumped on the opportunity to do their engagement photos in Van! We stopped first at a super cute little coffee shop called Olive + Ruby and I embarrassed them both by taking photos while they sipped their coffees and then again when I asked people to move so we could use the cool wicker chairs that hung from the ceiling! From there we made a pit stop to grab their unbelievably cute pup Riley (an Australian duck tolling retriever) for a stroll at Iona beach in Richmond. It was low tide so we, with Riley leading the way, trudged out in to the mud for some fun photos! I also know that Alice and I are kindred spirits because our unique + antique looking engagement rings are so similar 🙂
I can not wait for your wedding in Victoria next year! So much love to you both! xo
Long drives for photoshoots are hard work!
