Elopements might be my new favorite thing, and they have been happening more since Covid disrupted more traditional weddings. Don’t get me wrong, I love all weddings, but I now have a special place in my heart for these smaller, more tailored to the couple wedding days. Way less stress, you can do them on any day of the week (a great cost saver!) and you get way more time for photos, chilling, hanging with friends and family. What’s not to love? The shitty thing about Covid? Most brides/grooms have had to reschedule their wedding at least once, and for Madeleine and Bret thankfully the third time was a charm!
Another great bonus for intimate wedding elopements? You can choose multiple spots for your creative photos because you have so much time (and you might not have a wedding party in tow!)
Intimate wedding elopements are also amazing for getting to really connect with your partner on the day – and the extra time gives you the freedom to experiment with different things for your photos! 
Smoke from the wildfires is becoming more of a common occurrence during the summer months, but if you are game to embrace it – it can be pretty dang rad!
Another great thing about elopements? You can do the ceremony whenever! If it were up to me all ceremonies would happen closer to the sunset because you always get great light (whether it’s sunny out or not).
