Harper Mountain Wedding Photographer Kamloops, BC
What a day! Kasey-Jae and Mitch were SO much fun to photograph – not only are they the most gorgeous couple, they are also so easy going and fun! We had the most beautiful weather, which included the most stunning sunset at the end of the evening! They had so many special moments incorporated in to their day which always tugs at my heart strings! KJ’s engagement ring band was made from Mitch’s great grandmas ring (love those sentimental details), one of their best friends was their officiant, and basically everyone at the wedding knew how to two step like they were in ‘so you think you can dance’. Every year as I take fewer and fewer weddings, I am always pulled back to the wonderful, positive energy that weddings have.
What I love so much about weddings now is that they are evolving to be whatever YOU want them to be. Sure, they still always cost way too much money, and the stress of planning is overwhelming at times, BUT the love from friends and family gathering to celebrate two people falling in love is indescribable. I feel so privileged to be in the position where I get to witness the true and genuine emotion from everyone involved and it keeps me tied to photographing a handful of weddings still every year <3Â
