This session has been waiting quite some time to hit the blog as it was a personal project that myself and Jo LeFlufy photography teamed up to do (which means it gets moved to the back of the “to do list” haha). Jo LeFlufy is also an incredible boudoir photographer in town and it’s awesome to see what two different photographers come up with when it’s the same couple, same lighting, same equipment and then see how different our minds work! It’s really quite awesome!
Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE photographing boudoir. There is just something about boudoir that is so alluring, so sexy, so open and so inspiring… so when Jo suggested that we do a couple’s boudoir with a couple she knew would be excited to model for us – I jumped at the opportunity! R & C are AMAZING. I feel like that’s the only word that I need to describe them. Their chemistry together is ridiculous, and they were so open to all of our ideas (and if you know Jo or I, you would know that we had a lot of them!) They laughed their way through us posing them in the waterfall (also, the sickest location ever!!!), us making animal grunting sounds to get them really in to the moment, and us constantly tag team shooting them from every angle! R is a fitness instructor, and C does fitness competitions so it’s no wonder they were willing to bare it all to us, but I think it was their genuine love and connection with one another that really made this session so special and why their photos look so romantic and sensual. I think it’s such an incredible gift idea for one another and something fun to do to spice up your love life or to ignite your newly married bliss! What an amazing opportunity to have pictures together that you’ll always have to look back on and say “damn, we are one great couple!” Loved every bit of this day and would love to do more couple’s boudoir! As always, had so much fun shooting with Jo, and Amber always rocks out the hair & makeup!!!
