Phoenix Boudoir Photographer
I love being able to shoot in new places and shooting in Phoenix was seriously SO amazing! When Kyle and I booked our trip to Arizona I knew that I really wanted to photograph a model somewhere by the cacti. I ended up connecting with this incredible red headed beauty of a model, Shantia and she was up for all of my ideas.
I found this cool looking place called Usery Mountain Park, and I scouted a bunch of different spots. There were so many types of Cactus, but the one that I had never heard of that were everywhere were the Cholla (aka jumping cactus). They were literally at every turn, and the spikes went deep when they met your skin! Shantia was such a badass and worked around them as though they weren’t even there and was brave enough to be naked for me around so many of them!
I have always been a huge believer in taking my boudoir clients outdoors, and you can see why through these images. There is just something so raw, natural and beautiful about being one with nature. The focus is completely on you and your body, and your images display a free flowing and organic quality.
