Brandy Maddison Event Planning + Design is a full service floral, design and planning studio that specializes in creating spaces and events that are beautiful and timeless. We strive to bring an incredibly personal experience for our clients.

WHAT’S THE FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING A BOSS BABE AND WORKING FOR YOURSELF?
My favorite thing about being my own boss is the reward of making my own decisions, working with a pretty flexible schedule, deciding what feels good for BME and the team, making changes at anytime that need need to be improved or celebrated, and being able to offer that personal touch for our clients.
HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN BEING A SUCCESSFUL FEMALE ENTREPRENEUR AND STILL HAVE BALANCE IN YOUR LIFE?
This one is tricky and I definitely struggle with it from time to time, but I believe in the importance of keeping things separate. Especially with having an in home studio. I need to have scheduled hours for when it’s BME time, and make sure that when it’s family time, all of me is present. I remind myself to say no sometimes. These “no’s” leave room for amazing things in between and allow flexibility in my life. HOW DO YOU HELP WOMEN OVERCOME THEIR INSECURITIES?
By BELIEVING in them! I have so much belief in who they are, and what they are doing, that when they have down days, our passion and love for them is what they hold on to. Show them that they have it in them already, and be their biggest cheerleader. Oh, and make sure you stand by them through it all, supporting them every step of the way.  WHAT’S SOMETHING YOU DO FOR YOU THAT MAKES YOUR HEART HAPPY?
Gardening, camping and being by the water! I know when I have had a hard or stressful day, just walking around my garden in the grass and watering my plants is so rewarding. Watching all the blooms grow and become something beautiful is so good for my soul. Camping is another one! I love being in nature listening to all the sounds, birds, water, campfire! It’s a beautiful thing.  IF YOU COULD GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF A PIECE OF ADVICE WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Always follow your heart! It knows the way and is always guiding you! Even when you go on a little detour, watch for those signs. But also know there is no wrong turn, as all of the connections you make along the way lead you to something big in the end.  WHAT’S SOMETHING YOU DO TO OVERCOME FEAR?
Just follow my happy! Whatever is making me giddy inside, I follow that and keep going, no looking back! I give myself 5 seconds. No matter how scared I am, if it makes me excited, I do what I Need to do before that 5 seconds is up. I have nothing to lose and everything to gain.  LASTLY, SAY ONE NICE THING TO YOUR BODY (OR TO YOURSELF)
