I’ve known Dominic since he was 3 years old because my best friend was his older sister. I remember Val and I conjuring up all sorts of ideas to terrorize and taunt him and he always had some tricks up his sleeve as well! Being a part of their family for so many years has made Dominic seem like another brother to me, and to watch him marry the love of his life and be a part of their day was a true honor. As always, I felt completely at home on the ranch, and it was such a perfect day for a wedding of so much warmth, love, and happiness. Sam and Dominic have been together for so many years now and I couldn’t think of a better fit for one other. Although he has a tough, manly, cowboy exterior, Dominic is such a gentleman and romantic when it comes to Sam. Sam is so beautiful and kind hearted, I’ve never heard her raise her voice or say a mean thing about anyone, and wow can her smile brighten up a room! I knew after their engagement shoot where we had horses and hay and hot summer nights (you can see those photos here) that their wedding would be just as epic; and of course it was. Sam rode in with her bridesmaids and groomsmen with two stunning horses leading the way to their rustic country ceremony! There was so much laughter, so much dancing and so much amazingness throughout the whole day, my face hurt from smiling so much when I got home. The way that weddings bring people together with so much love really makes me know that being a photographer is the best career in the world! So so so much love to you both! xo

I met Jessica through a mutual friend who ended up introducing us when Jessica started looking for a wedding photographer! After hearing some of their unique wedding details and knowing that our mutual friend was the maid of honor, I knew I would love these two and that I wanted to be a part of their big day! I knew I was stoked to be a part of their day when I heard they were doing their ceremony at the Tod Mountain Thoroughbred Ranch (which I had never photographed at, and never even knew existed until then – and WOW was it beautifully amazing!) Secondly, their wedding colors were hot pink and lime green (another original first, and so perfectly suited to them as a couple!); and thirdly, they were absolutely adorable together: ridiculously easy going, kind of goofy and so loving! I loved so many aspects of their day – how relaxed everyone was when getting ready – the girls chatted while drinking champagne, laughing and getting excited, and the boys had fun learning how to tie ties while drinking gin and Redbull! Jessica was definitely a very ‘together’ bride! She was chill the whole day, and never seemed stressed out even a little bit, she looked incredibly beautiful and so happy the entire day, and she was on the dance floor more than anyone else during the night! Brent was a little harder to read at first – he’s definitely a guy’s guy, so his nerves were a little more apparent in the morning, but he made my heart melt when I saw how proud and excited he was to see Jessica walk down the aisle toward him and I got to know him even better from the hilarious stories that came out in the speeches later in the night! I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful couple to spend such a lovely September day with and I wish you both so much happiness in your future together! xo
I love how Grandpa was chuckling at the boys as they were trying to figure out how to decorate the bridal vehicle with hot pink and lime green pom poms!
You know you have friends in high places when they bring their yellow Lamborghini for you to take photos with!
Congrats you two <3 xo
