I’ve known Dominic since he was 3 years old because my best friend was his older sister. I remember Val and I conjuring up all sorts of ideas to terrorize and taunt him and he always had some tricks up his sleeve as well! Being a part of their family for so many years has made Dominic seem like another brother to me, and to watch him marry the love of his life and be a part of their day was a true honor. As always, I felt completely at home on the ranch, and it was such a perfect day for a wedding of so much warmth, love, and happiness. Sam and Dominic have been together for so many years now and I couldn’t think of a better fit for one other. Although he has a tough, manly, cowboy exterior, Dominic is such a gentleman and romantic when it comes to Sam. Sam is so beautiful and kind hearted, I’ve never heard her raise her voice or say a mean thing about anyone, and wow can her smile brighten up a room! I knew after their engagement shoot where we had horses and hay and hot summer nights (you can see those photos here) that their wedding would be just as epic; and of course it was. Sam rode in with her bridesmaids and groomsmen with two stunning horses leading the way to their rustic country ceremony! There was so much laughter, so much dancing and so much amazingness throughout the whole day, my face hurt from smiling so much when I got home. The way that weddings bring people together with so much love really makes me know that being a photographer is the best career in the world! So so so much love to you both! xo

Chelsea and Trey are that amazing, easy going couple that all couples strive to be like (especially on their wedding day!) When I first sat down with Chelsea to discuss her wedding plans I was blown away at how organized and efficient she was with all the details. She has that great ability to be easy going and structured at the same time (two qualities I wish I had more of at the same time!) I had known Trey from our home town, but didn’t really know what his personality was like, and seeing him again for the first time in years made it clear why these two were getting married. They are both just so easy going and fun! (If you want to check out their beautiful & fun engagement photos you can do so here!)
There were a few small hiccups during the day (like when we got stuck a few cars behind an accident on the way to go and put on her dress and finish her makeup, making us an hour late for the ceremony) or when the bride and groom decided to jump on a trampoline right before dinner and the groom jumped through the train on the dress ripping it! But these two didn’t bat an eye – they just made the best of it because it was their wedding day! No meltdowns or hysterics, just another story to add to all the memories and great times that encompassed their day!
I think my favorite part of the whole day, hands down, was their first dance as man and wife. The way that they looked at one another, held one another and danced with one another made my heart melt. These two have an unshakeable bond that will last them throughout their many happy, married years together! Thanks so much for letting me be such a big part of your beautiful and eventful day!
An accident en route to get dressed for your wedding day… let’s make the best of it and have an impromptu fun photoshoot in the surrounding area!
